When Covid hit I was in the last quarter of 8th Grade, so they really didn't do much to keep teaching us other than a weekly zoom call or project on Canvas. As much as I personally don't like zoom calls, it is a great resource for schools and jobs to conduct class or meetings. In High School I used the FLVS online program to complete a couple credits, which was also a great resource. It had all the notes, videos, lessons, and teacher contact info in an easy to navigate setup. I never used Google Classroom, though I know lots of schools did use this for learning during Covid times. I wonder if I would have grown to hate online learning less if I had used Google Classroom over just Zoom and Canvas. Open Educational Resources are resources in the public domain used for teaching and learning. This could be anything like infographics, lesson videos, and textbooks.
